(Jenna’s Law) Model Legislation. Since Jenna’s Law passed in May 2009, over half the country has adopted legislation reflecting the principals of Jenna’s Law education. The first state to model legislation after Jenna’s Law was the state of Illinois in 2011 through SB 2843.
